Li Mya, a name originating from the Burmese word meaning Emerald; Common name A Midsummer Night's Dream, named after its dreamy demeanor; an ode to Shakespeare.
Sizes vary; they have extravagant emerald aquamarine tentacles and sparkly golden tentacles that grow as long as 12 inches long. These tentacles produce splashes of dreams on a hot summer night under the moonlight. The longer the tentacles, the more dreams it can splash!
Fabric Jellyfish carefully and delicately handmade with heat-manipulated organza and hand-cut gold mesh.
The bell(or hood) of the jellyfish uses semi-transluscent royal blue organza with subtle chambray of violet threads creating a magical effect.
The tentacles are created with a combination of heat-shocked shimmery aquamarine organza and gold mesh.
Between 3.5" to 4" in diameter; 10" to 12" in tentacle length.
Each jellyfish is attached with 4ft long lightweight monofilament for easy installation, and comes in Sayuri's World gift box. (See last photo)
Handmade with love and care by Sayuri.
Intended to be hung in mid-air in a natural light abundant setting with some subtle air movement.
*IMPORTANT NOTE: As each jellyfish is handmade no two will be alike, so your piece will not look exactly like the one photographed but it will be very similar. This is also the intention of the artist to create an organic and expressionistic interpretation of nature through her eyes.
